Me

I’m Charlie, an HR executive, coach, trainer, and mental health advisor with over a decade of experience in the SaaS industry. I began my career in sales, helping start-ups break into new markets and scale revenue. Being at the forefront of growth taught me an invaluable lesson: while strategy and product matter, the true differentiator in any fast-growing business is its people. The way teams are built, the culture they create and the performance dynamics they foster ultimately determine a company’s success.

This insight led me to transition into a Chief People Officer role, where I’ve focused on shaping high-performing cultures and supporting leaders through the challenges of rapid growth. I’ve managed everything from hiring and leadership alignment to restructures, redundancies, legal considerations, internal culture strategy, communications and performance & accountability systems. I understand that the people and culture challenges vary depending on a company’s stage. I have helped companies from seed to Series C. The need for a dedicated strategy and expert guidance on people always remains fundamental.

I specialise in team engagement, performance, retention and people and culture strategy to help scale-ups thrive. My expertise spans the full employee lifecycle: from hiring, culture engagement, performance development and learning platforms to organisational design and transformational change.

I hold a BSc in Neuroscience & Psychology, giving me a strong foundation in human behaviour and mental health. Since then, I’ve advanced my studies in Neurolinguistic Programming, CIPD HR, People Management, Employment Law, Mental Health Counselling, Pattern Psychology, Trauma Therapy and Yoga Therapy - equipping me with the tools to support both individuals and organisations in achieving their full potential.
